Multimedia campaign for United Nations'
17 Sustainable Development Goals.

During my full-year Erasmus programme, I participated in a student project for United Nations that included creation of a full multimedia campaign.

iSAWit is a transmedia storytelling campaign focused on the United Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals. These goals are related to the biggest issues of our planet and our civilization. The campaign is centered on promoting the “small acts worldwide“ - an idea that every person can make small good things each day to help the environment.

Our work was granted with first place in the Lapin Door award show.

Problem

United Nations needed the campaign to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to the public. The idea of a transmedia project is to use different types of media to reach a broader audience to the topic. Through the use of different media platforms, users can get familiar with the goals and learn how they can contribute to meeting them.

The first product is a mobile application that is mainly focused on meeting the users with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and giving them a platform to contribute to the solutions.

My role in this project was involved with the concept development process, the brand identity, the user journey experience, and the video production of the final results.

Inspiration

The main vision of this campaign was to be attractive to people to participate. We took a lot of visual inspiration from other similar projects and the United Nations itself. We used different types of approaches with using different types of media, so we can have engagement with different types of users.

Here is the product video for our campaign showing all products of our project.
